The TaylorMade Tournament 2024 took place on April 5 at Taekwang Jeongsan Country Club (Dai Phuoc) with the participation of 144 golfers.
Following the launch of the TaylorMade Qi10 product line with groundbreaking technologies, including an unprecedented 10K moment of inertia in the history of TaylorMade's metal woods, golfers can consistently achieve stable shots regardless of where the ball makes contact on the clubface. With permission from TaylorMade Golf, Thang Long TM Vietnam Joint Stock Company continued to organize the TaylorMade Tournament 2024 at Taekwang Jeongsan Country Club (Dai Phuoc), Dong Nai province, with the participation of 144 golfers. The goal was to select the best golfers to represent Team TaylorMade Golf Vietnam in the Friendship Tournament between Vietnam and Thailand from April 24 to 27 in Pattaya, Thailand.
At the tournament, golfers got to experience TaylorMade Golf's advanced golf club technology and admired the diverse and vibrant golf apparel from TaylorMade Golf's latest clothing collection.
Through this event, Thang Long TM Vietnam Joint Stock Company aims to convey the message about the golf movement in Vietnam to Southeast Asia and the world. The representatives of Team TaylorMade Golf Vietnam participating in the tournament are not only excellent and talented golfers but also long-time enthusiasts and believers in TaylorMade products.
The TaylorMade Tournament 2024 took place on April 5 at Taekwang Jeongsan Country Club (Dai Phuoc) with the participation of 144 golfers.
Golfers participated in an 18-hole stroke play format using the Net scoring system based on System 36. They were divided into four divisions based on gender and registered Handicap: Ladies, A and B, C for Men, and a guest division. Players were required to use at least one of the TaylorMade Golf clubs from the P Series, Qi10 Family, or Stealth Family.

To increase the competitiveness and attractiveness of the tournament, the organizers held many mini-games with attractive prizes, including golf apparel and accessories from TaylorMade Golf and other sponsors. The appearance of actress Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc and other famous artists such as musician Ho Hoai Anh; circus artist Quoc Nghiep; football legend Nguyen Hong Son, and young comedians Duy Nam, Trung Ruoi, Manh Dung, and Thai Duong brought a lively atmosphere to the tournament.
After an exciting day of competition, the organizers awarded prizes to the top individuals in each division. Technical awards for Nearest to the Pin (for the golfer with the shot closest to the pin) and Longest Drive (for the golfer with the longest drive) were also given to outstanding golfers. With a score of 78, Kuo Hsuan-Chih won the Best Gross award.
11 outstanding golfers won tickets to compete in Thailand
Notably, 11 tickets were awarded to the 11 best golfers to participate in the Friendship Tournament in Pattaya, Thailand: Nguyen Ha Linh, Duong Manh Tien, Nguyen Hanh Phuong, Nguyen Thi Hoang Trinh, Bui Trung That, Nguyen Vu Minh Hoang, Nguyen Hoang Dinh, Tran Tuan Long, Dang Xuan Minh, Man Tan Tinh, and Kuo Hsuan-Chih. When competing in Thailand, these golfers must also use at least one club from the Stealth Family, Qi10, or P Series of TaylorMade Golf.
The TaylorMade Tournament 2024 concluded with great enthusiasm from the participating golfers. Following its debut, the TaylorMade Tournament will become an annual Thang Long TM Vietnam Joint Stock Company event.
